With muscular proportions and massive power, the 2020 BMW M8 is a bully among boulevard cruisers. Every version of the M8 boasts a mighty twin-turbo V-8 that pairs with a specialized all-wheel-drive system; it includes a rear-drive-only mode that’s perfect for hanging the tail out. The M8 Competition model further maximizes performance with added horsepower, an enhanced chassis, and other bespoke bits. Despite its inherently aggressive demeanor, the M8 remains a pleasant daily driver. Its cabin is beautifully crafted and loaded with luxury features and desirable technology.
This model replaces the BMW M6, which was also offered as a coupe, convertible. Unlike the more affordable but less powerful BMW M850i, the M8 is made for those who desire the full monty when it comes to the company’s M division. That’s why we’d recommend the M8 Competition coupe, because it has the complete roster of go-fast goodies and is better suited to racetrack action than the convertible. Both versions are a serious investment, and those who have the means to buy either can likely afford to load up on the options. However, the M8 comes with a handsome amount of standard luxuries, so we’d be less spendy than most. Besides, the only remaining performance upgrade is the M Carbon Ceramic Brakes. These are built to better withstand track abuse, and BMW says that they reduce weight, so we’d add them to fully experience the car’s potential. We’d pass on the various driver-assistance packages as well as the handful of other options.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
As with most BMW M cars, the M8’s interior design and passenger space are virtually identical to the regular models’. Although the design doesn’t strike us as very imaginative, the leather surfaces are beautifully stitched together and the trim pieces are appropriately upscale. Every M8 comes standard with luxurious features that include customizable ambient lighting, a 12.1-inch digital gauge cluster, heated and ventilated front seats, a Nappa leather-covered dashboard, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and wireless charging. Its cabin provides plenty of space for front-seat passengers but makes those banished to the small back seat feel like second-class citizens. Those who want an M8 and need to regularly shuttle more than two people will want to consider the much roomier, four-door M8 Gran Coupe. We managed to fit five carry-on suitcases in the trunk of a regular 8-series coupe, so we expect the M8 to provide the same amount of storage.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Nestled in the middle of the dashboard on every M8 is a 10.25-inch touchscreen that acts as the hub of BMW’s iDrive 7.0 infotainment system. The main display is complemented by a rotary controller and physical buttons on the center console. The interface features crisp graphics and quick responses, but some of the menus are heavily packed and require the driver to take their eyes off the road. Still, the system’s voice commands worked well, and it can even be optioned with gesture controls. Desirable standard features include Apple CarPlay (but not Android Auto), a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.

The Porsche 911 has preserved the essential elements that made it an icon. Its familiar circular headlights, Coke bottle shape, and sloping rump make it virtually impossible to mistake a 911 for any other sports car. Climb into its perfectly positioned driver’s seat, fire up its powerful and unique-sounding engine, and engage either of its terrific transmissions. Porsche hasn’t said how much each model will cost or when the 2021 911 lineup will go on sale. But based on the few minor changes and our experience with the current model-year cars, we can still confidently recommend the Carrera 4S. The S version’s increased output nets 64 more horses than the standard Carrera, and we’d be happy with either the engaging manual transmission or the snappier PDK dual-clutch automatic. Those who want to enjoy their 911 year-round but have to deal with the slippery conditions associated with winter weather—like us—will appreciate the 4S’s all-wheel-drive system. Unfortunately, it’s a substantial upcharge and no longer brings wider rear fenders, which now appear on all versions. Porsche is known for its à la carte approach to options, which is both a blessing and a curse, because it allows a lot of personalization but can quickly inflate the already-rich bottom line. We’d spring for the Sport Chrono package that adds launch control, additional drive modes, and more. The Sport Seats Plus provide more supportive front buckets, and the Sport package adds desirable performance hardware, specifically a lowered suspension and a louder exhaust system. Our selection of upgrades would conclude with ventilated front-seat cushions, passive entry, heated, multifunction GT steering wheel, and Porsche’s Dynamic Light System Plus that features automatic high-beams and headlights that swivel in the direction the front tires are pointed.
Infiniti QX50 at Tint Magic Window Tinting Coral Springs. Call us for a free estimate! (954) 840-7883. We are located at 11344 Wiles Road Coral Springs Fl 33076. We use COMPUTER CUT SYSTEM TO PRE-CUT WINDOW FILMS BEFORE APPLYING IT ON GLASS. We use Suntek and LLumar window films Made in USA.
There’s a new kind of engine under the hood of the new Infiniti QX50 Like many of its competitors, it’s a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four, but what goes on inside is different from anything that has come before it.
Luxury-minded customers are more likely to care about how the QX50 looks parked in front of their houses. Its exterior design clings closely to the class norms, which means it treads the line between handsome and dull—just attractive enough to get the neighbors to notice but not so striking that it inspires them to knock on your door. Infiniti designed some distinction into the D-pillar shape, but many details, such as the headlights and taillights, could’ve been pulled from an Acura or Mazda.
The interior doesn’t take many risks, either. Material quality is excellent, and the quilted leather seats and microsuede trim on the door panels and center console are elegant touches, but these niceties are only available on the top trim level. In the center stack, two touchscreens divide the infotainment labor. The upper display is for the navigation system, one that we should mention appears to have been pulled right out of a 2008 Infiniti. Below that display is another touchscreen that has apps, audio controls, phone pairing, vehicle settings, and destination entry. Will it bother you that the two graphic displays don’t share the same fonts? It bothers us. At least the climate controls are traditional buttons that flank the lower screen.
The cabin is wide, and there’s a sense of space and airiness that transcends the QX50’s compact segment. In fact, the QX50’s new platform makes it wider than the Lexus RX350, and the sliding bench rear seat boasts more legroom than the one in the longer Lexus. Along with the soft and soothing front seats, the QX50 has more than enough space to comfortably accommodate four six-foot passengers.
2019 Subaru STI:
2019 Subaru STI Window Tint at Tint Magic Window Tinting Coral Springs. We are located at 11344 Wiles Road Coral Springs FL 33076. Call us for the best quality service! (954) 840-7883. We have installed Suntek Nano Carbon CXP 25% all over around the windows for the best heat protection and visibility.
The 2019 Subaru STI gets slightly more powerful for 2019 thanks in part to a new air intake and performance exhaust system, which bumps engine output from 305 horsepower to 310. Likewise, the four-cylinder mill receives a retuned engine control unit (ECU) and stronger pistons. The manual transmission also has a shorter third gear that Subaru says improves acceleration. A new Series.Gray model joins the lineup, too, but only 250 will be produced. These limited editions sport a unique Cool Gray Khaki paint color as well as exclusive badging, folding exterior mirrors, black 19-inch wheels, and sliver brake calipers. Inside, the Series.Gray mixes black faux-suede and leather with red stitching. Its standard equipment includes an upgraded suspension, Recaro front seats, and keyless entry with push-button start. For those seeking the ultimate STI, there is the S209; we estimate it will go from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
Any WRX STI purchase is sizable. We would probably curtail our spending given the Subaru’s plebeian trappings. If you desire additional niceties, the pricier Limited model adds the Recaro bundle plus a power sunroof, navigation, a Harman/Kardon premium audio system, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. The Limited also gains the option to replace the STI’s giant rear wing with a less outrageous one. Stick with the base WRX and you still get front and rear limited-slip differentials, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and red seatbelts.

The new Traverse is square-jawed and trucklike and loses none of its usefulness in the makeover. It features a new and contemporary infotainment system, a more refined cabin, and available high-end goodies that push the big three-row crossover upmarket. Its V-6 engine proved to be both gutsy and fuel efficient in our testing. The Traverse’s suspension provides a compliant ride while maintaining its composure in corners. The second and third rows can accommodate adults comfortably, and there are plenty of cupholders and USB ports throughout the cabin. Unlike its predecessor, this latest-generation Traverse is more than just a minivan alternative.
Highs: Huge cargo capacity, excellent connectivity features, room for up to eight.
Lows: Garage-hogging size, greatly obscured rear visibility, run-of-the-mill warranty coverage.
Verdict: Whether navigating the ‘burbs or hitting the open road, the Traverse is a family-friendly hauler with a long list of talents.
The Traverse provides spacious accommodations for seven or eight passengers, including a third row sized for adults. Chevrolet’s six-tier model lineup allows the Traverse to reach a broad swath of the market and appeal to a wide range of buyers. The materials in the top-level High Country are handsome but fall slightly short of expectations given that version’s lofty price.
A bounty of USB ports is thoughtfully placed throughout the Traverse’s cabin, and its infotainment system is simple to use, with colorful graphics, a high-mounted touchscreen, and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. An infotainment system that responds quickly to user inputs seals the deal for the tech-savvy Traverse.
Drop all of the Traverse’s folding seats and it becomes a cargo-hauling champ with more space than any of its rivals. Six carry-on suitcases fit behind the third row, which means it wins at carrying both people and their luggage. It offers the most first-row cubby storage in its class as well.
